Five candidates qualify for third RNC debate

The Republican National Committee has officially announced the confirmation of the five candidates who have qualified to take the stage on Wednesday evening in Miami, Florida. Joining the debate will be notable figures such as Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel expressed her excitement for the third debate in Miami, emphasizing the opportunity for candidates to showcase the Republican Party's winning conservative agenda to the American people. NBC News, the host of the debate, reported McDaniel's remarks where she also revealed the partnership between the Republican Party and the Republican Jewish Coalition, making them the first political party to collaborate with a Jewish organization for a debate. During the debate, the candidates will reaffirm the Republican Party's unwavering support of Israel and the Jewish community.

Additionally, the RNC has collaborated with Salem Radio Network for this highly anticipated event. The five candidates who qualified for the debate have surpassed the rigorous requirements set by the RNC, including obtaining 70,000 unique donors and achieving a 4% threshold in two national polls or one national and an early state poll.

However, it is important to note that North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and former Vice President Mike Pence, who participated in the previous debate, will not be present. While Pence suspended his campaign in late October, Burgum continues to remain a candidate.

Notably, former President Donald Trump has chosen not to participate in any of the debates but remains the clear front runner in the contest.

Overall, this announcement showcases the Republican Party's commitment to engaging in substantive debates and presenting a diverse range of candidates to the American public.
