Trump, on average, enjoys a 44.5% lead over his nearest primary rival.

Former President Donald Trump has recently urged the Republican National Committee (RNC) to cancel the remaining primary debates and redirect its resources towards countering President Joe Biden. Trump expressed his confidence through a social media post on Truth Social, stating, "GREAT POLLS JUST RELEASED - BEST EVER! Harvard/Harris TRUMP 67%, DeSanctimonious 9%, Birdbrain 8%, Ramaswamy 5%, Christie - dead in the water, a total loser!"

n his message, he emphasized his lead of 7% to 10% against "CROOKED JOE BIDEN" and called for the RNC to consolidate its funds by disregarding debates with the lowest ever ratings. Trump stressed the importance of utilizing these resources to undermine the Democrats and halt what he refers to as "THE STEAL." If the RNC fails to take action, he demands a significant overhaul of the committee.

Recent polling data from RealClearPolitics indicates that Trump holds a substantial lead over his closest primary competitor, averaging 44.5%. Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis trails with 14.4% support while former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley claims 10.7%. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy earns 4.7% and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie lags behind with 2.3%.

Highlighting Trump's near-certain nomination, several polls suggest that Republicans prefer the party to focus its efforts on defeating President Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 elections.

As Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel faces mounting pressure to step down following a series of disappointing election outcomes earlier this month, Trump's call for a comprehensive revamp of the RNC gains further relevance.
